In 2026, Ferguson Plarre proudly celebrates 125 years of baking history, a milestone that represents generations of family, community and a whole lot of delicious moments.

What began in 1901 as a small family bakery has grown into one of Victoria’s most loved bakery brands, built on a simple promise: to bake Victorians happy. For five generations, the Ferguson and Plarre families and our dedicated team members have continued to create quality cakes, pastries, pies and coffee while bringing people together for life’s everyday celebrations.

As the parent company of Ferguson Plarre's Bakehouse, Plarre Foods Group is incredibly proud of the legacy we have built and the thousands of team members, suppliers, franchise partners and customers who have been part of our journey.

Over 125 years, we’ve seen countless changes, from horse-drawn deliveries to digital ordering, from a single bakery to a network of stores across Victoria, but one thing has remained the same: our passion for great food and creating memorable experiences for our customers.

Throughout our 125th year, we’re celebrating the moments that have made Ferguson Plarre what it is today, the iconic treats customers have grown up with, the team members who bring them to life, and the communities who have welcomed us into their everyday routines for generations.

From morning coffees and after-school treats to birthday cakes, family celebrations and everything in between, Ferguson Plarre has been there for Victorians through it all.
